GUADEC sponsorship

Hi everyone,

Once again, congratulations for being accepted as part of the Google
SoC program this year, and thanks for choosing GNOME :)

As you may or may not know, GUADEC [1] will be held from July 26th to
July 30th in Den Haag (Netherlands). GUADEC is the annual GNOME
conference, and it's the best place to meet many GNOME contributors,
to talk about GNOME, code, hacking, ... You really should be coming to
GUADEC as it's a great place to get to know fellow GNOME hackers much
better, and it's lots of fun too!

Since the trip can be expensive, especially for students, and we'd be
disappointed if the only reason holding you back is money, we wanted
to draw your attention to the GUADEC Sponsorship Committee [2][3]
which can help fund this trip. The deadline is today, but the nice
people in the Committee agreed to consider SoC students applications
which would come before Friday April 30th 19.00UTC. So if you are
interested in coming (you really should!) and need help for the
travel, don't wait, apply [3] now! Please make sure to mention you are
a Summer of Code student in your application.
