Thanks Louis for the information about extending the GeoClue functionality to Linux Kernel. I would definitely like to merge the two GSoC ideas and combine it to a single project. Can you tell me the prerequisites / technologies I should be aware of as the original GeoClue project demands C and DBus knowledge only.

I'll add that we also only have mostly kernel mentors, GNOME mentors
would be good but since it seems a simiilar GSoC was written for the
GNOME project this can go hand in hand. That how about -- Linux
Foundation can mentor the kernel part of the GeoClue GSoC and GNOME
would mentor with the integration on the desktop?
Also I would urge Jussi Kukkonen and other GeoClue developers to kindly consider the above.
Thanking you,
~kr0y.
