Hi,
Last week I was at the Ubuntu Developer Summit. There I met my mentor
(Seif) and we discussed GSoC (including an idea for how the Clutter
interface could look like) and Zeitgeist in general.
Before this, I already got involved in Zeitgeist some weeks ago and
the D-Bus interface in Zeitgeist required for gnome-shell and other
applications is already working by now, although I may still do some
changes to how it is now (for a full list of stuff I've done other
than splitting Zeitgeist's engine and GTK+ interface into two separate
applications using D-Bus to communicate, see
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~zeitgeist/zeitgeist/trunk/changes).
On the gnome-shell side I haven't done anything yet, but I've created
a branch at http://github.com/RainCT/gnome-shell/tree/master for when
I start working on it's code.
I have university access exams next week so I won't be doing much
until the 12th, but then I'll have all the day for GSoC.
Cheers,
