[Weekly report] Week 6: DVB Daemon

Hi!

Last week I adjusted dvb-daemon to the latest changes in
gst-rtsp-server. This turned out to be more difficult than expected. I
ran into a race condition that's now hopefully fixed.

I spent the second half of the week removing the existing DVB support
from Totem and adding built-in support for dvb-daemon. Currently, you'll
see a menu entry "Watch TV" when you have at least one dvb adapter. This
one first checks if dvb-daemon is installed and if not offer the user to
install it via PackageKit. If PackageKit is not available an error
message is displayed. My work is published in a branch at github [1].

Next week I'm going to continue working on the built-in Totem support.
