Hi!

Unfortunately, working on the ringbuffer didn't get me ahead much. I was
using to gdb(de)pay to (un)serialize the data stream. Unfortunately,
those elements don't support streaming. Storing the stream directly in
the file doesn't work at all.

I spend the second half of the week fixing bugs in the EPGScanner that
caused weird crashes. Each EPGScanner now uses its one main loop.
Though, I was told glib from git master still causes a crash.

All in all, this year's GSoC was very challenging. Although, I wasn't
able to get all work done (especially the ring buffer) I still made
quite some progress.
