Hi everyone,

Yet another introduction: My name is Simon Wenner, I'm 24 years old.
I'm a computer science student at ETH Zürich, Switzerland.
My GSoC task is to add local map rendering for OpenStreetMap[1] data
to libchamplain[2]. This will make it possible to use customized maps,
create offline map applications and provide accessibility features for
maps.

I'm a GNOME user since five years and I wrote several small
applications and plug-ins for applications in the GNOME software
ecosystem. I hope that, through the GSoC, I can really become part of
the best FLOSS community that I know of, the GNOME community! :-)
