Hi,

I'm trying to run mutter with Wayland (without XWayland), everything seems ok (graphical mode is properly 
set in the log) but nothing is displayed on the screen. I can not type on the keyboard so it seems that it 
has switched in graphical mode. Does anyone know where it may fail ? Is there any info I can get to go 
further in my problem ?

Mutter, running as a Wayland compositor, can't work without Xwayland
right now. It would be good if it was made so that Xwayland is optional,
and that mutter can survive Xwayland crashing, but it is not something
that has been worked on very much so far, simply because other areas
have been prioritized higher. Any contributions in this area are very
welcome however, but it's quite a massive task, decoupling mutter the
X11 window manager from always being a X11 window manager. Here is the
