Enable window automaximisation

Hi,

I use one window per display and always want my windows maximised.
I have tried

  gsettings set org.gnome.mutter auto-maximize true

but this only seems to apply if a window is "nearly monitor sized" when
it opens.

Is there some way of just having all windows open maximised all the
time?
