Hallo everybody,

I created this picture here [1] and with following captions:

en: "The graphical user interface muss be designed conforming to the characteristics of the peripherals. GNOME Shell is mainly intended for the usage with Keyboard and a Pointing device, like e.g. a Mouse; the usage with a Touchscreen is also possible. In contrast to KDE Plasma Workspaces, there is only one GUI"

I don't know what this means. GNOME and KDE are both Free Software desktop environments for Linux and Linux-like systems.

What do you think?

BTW, I think the GDK [2] could use some better explanation. I created a little diagram after watching Emanuelle Bassi's LCA video, but this does not depict the current situation.

Articles like this, and the one about the "Linux API" [3] tend to be quite wrong and misguided. I'd recommend that you delete these articles rather than cause confusion with wrong information.
