[GSoC] Message Tray for 3.2 - Weekly Reports

Hello everyone!

It's a really cool experience being part of GNOME and the gnome-shell team. Looking forward to having fun coding on Message Tray stuff.

Week 1

I feel sorry, I couldn't manage to spend time on coding the past week as my course work load was heavy (my school ended on Saturday).



I would like to still brief out about what I worked on.

Updated the gnome-shell source code -  It was really messy for me as I had to install many packages manually and the gnome-shell-build-setup.sh script was a bit old (I had built gnome-shell a month ago). Installing colord on my machine (ubuntu natty) wasn't an easy go either. The liblcms2-dev had to be installed and also the startup-notification.


I just checked the bug [0] I was working on to begin with. This week I will try to finish updates on rhythmbox [1] and nautilus [2] integration with the Message Tray.
