Evolution Express Calender

Hello,

I have just discovered the express (--express) option in Evolution for
small screens. I find it very useful, so have edited the launcher (using
alacarte) to make it always use the express mode. 

The problem comes when launching the evolution calender from the pop-out
calender in the Shell, if Evolution is not already running, it does not
launch in express view. Is there any way to solve this problem?
