Same problem here:

 jhbuild run gnome-shell
 mutter: symbol lookup error:
 /home/antono/Projects/gnome-shell/install/lib/gtk-3.0/modules/libcanberra-gtk-module.so:
 undefined symbol: gtk_quit_add

Nothing started :(
