When can we expect to see some new UI elements?

  I've been doing daily (sometimes 3-5x daily) jhbuilds for my daily 
use machine, and I can absolutely see the improvements.  Can we expect 
to see some new UI elements any time in the near future?  I dig some of 
the mock-ups of the expanded date/time menu, that kind of thing.  I am 
very excited to see McCann's ideas on his blog take shape.  Just askin.
