First of all, this would probably fit better in a bugreport:  https://bugzilla.gnome.org/

Secondly: You will have to provide more information about the environment in which you are running Gnome Shell. What version of Gnome Shell, how you aquiered it and what version of which graphics driver you are using along with the version of your Linux kernel is always useful.
