Does anybody know whether there is any plans to have effects in gnome-shell? maybe compiz like mutter plugins to achieve this ????
I amskepticalthat it will ever get to the breadth and depth of Compiz, but it would be awesome if it did. My guess is that the answers would be: not anytime soon and through the extension system. Maybe I'm justpessimisticthough. I am not a dev so don't take my words as truth.
And my other question is are there any designs made up that with accepted features not yet implemented?? if so can you link me?
A lot of those are only half implemented (message tray), need serious attention (appearance),or not really implemented at all (extensions, widgets/gadgets)
If you are using a recent build of the Shell then you will notice that rudimentary support for the AppMenu has already beenimplemented(you can close the app though the title in the panel)
