Hi,

actually if you remove the indicator applet from the regular Gnome
desktop, the applications that are patched to use it fall back to the
Gnome tray by default and therefore appear correctly in the Gnome
Shell's tray area.

also I *think* that this PPA has stopped updating Gnome Shell for Ubuntu 9.10.
