I want to share my thoughts on the behaviour of the application switcher (Alt+Tab) in Gnome-Shell: The application switcher (Alt+Tab) should be limited to the current workspace or (at least) display/use/consider the applications of the current workspaces first. If not, as it is in the current implementation, the benefit of distinct workspaces is lost. Typical usecase for me: I switch the workspace from my 'daily use' workspace to my 'Communication and Internet' workspace. Now I want to switch between the two applications located on this workspace: Firefox and Evolution. What happens instead: the next application that occurs when using Alt +Tab is the application I've used on another workspace. I think this is not intended. HTH and best regards. Jean-Peer
