Re: Nvidia driver problem

I find once again that I "tend" to be slightly ahead of the curve...I was using the beta 190.42 nvidia drivers & someone at the forums (ubuntu) suggested that I revert to the "stock" 185 driver series---I have done so & the "lag" has reduced--it is still there, but at least I can use the shell for testing.....

I find my xsession-errors flooded with this:

I am running Gnome-Shell as a session with no other window-managers running---I start the session with a simlink to gnome-shell.desktop.

Cheers!!!

Yes--I use ALT+F2 & restart so I can use my cursor (Using Ubuntu 10.04
testing & that seems to be a "known" bug), but I still have problems after
that--is there anything you want as per debug to pin it down? I'm using a
custom xorg.conf to run SLI due to some wrong config work--I've tried
changing some options & running without any options without any affect...
