Hi Natan, I felt it would be convenient to not have
to load a browser to do things I want to have access to all the time. I think that putting stuff online is such
a common task for everyone now that I ask myself why shouldn’t these features
be accessible from widgets/panel applets/the shell? One example of something already existing along
these lines is updating my IM status from the Ubuntu panel. To be honest, I really couldn’t be
bothered blogging if it isn’t easy and accessible in as few clicks as possible…
I want the desktop to give me access to the cloud. Am I lazy, or typical? Mr Shane Nuessler Phone: +61 (0)2 6201 5655 Fax: +61 (0)2 6201 5172 'Anther day, another dimension of

Natan Yellin [mailto:aantny gmail com] Hi Shane, On Thu, Jul 30, 2009 at 3:39 AM, Hi
all, In
my current Gnome enviro I would like to be able to post to my blog, update my delicious.com bookmarks, and
keep track of RSS feeds. The
notion I’m proposing is that the shell becomes the access point to these
external services. Is
there error in my view? Mr
