Hi Shane,
You already can post to your blog, update your bookmarks, and keep track of RSS feeds from your desktop using Epiphany or Firefox. :)
(I know that's probably not what you meant, but if something isn't broken then don't fix it.)

What type of further integration would you like to see and why would it be better than just using a browser?
