The SRPM you got the spec from has the sources. 'rpmbuild -bp' would 
patch the sources so you could run ./configure in the BUILD directory.

Using a termial in X tyou can easily get a scroll buffer to find the 
line your looking for.

And you can alway redirect the output from rpmbuild or configure to a 
file or pager (like less) to find the desired information.
