Hi,
On my gnome-keybinding-properties (Keyboard Shortcuts) the Shortcut
column is blank. And Action column only contains "Desktop" and "Window
Management". I think this happened because. Using RH 8 System Settings
-> Packages, removing Games/Entertainment removed the control-center,
xscreensaver and fortune-mod. Wow what a bad time for me to use the
GUI, I normally use rpm -e.
Anyway I installed back the control-center, etc. Things seems to be
back to normal except for the key bindings. Using gconf-editor and
directly editing the key bindings work ok. But I would like to still
use the Keyboard Shortcuts UI than gconf editor. Also I have lost all
default keyboard shortcuts. I was able to put back the shortcuts that I
use by gconf editor.
Anyone has clues why I Keyboard Shortcuts can't get what is in gconf?
Thanks very much.
Jun
P.S.
Its a system wide problem, other users also have the same problem.
