Re: viewing and editing the "run command" field of a launcher

Actually, there do seem to be a bug here. Launchers in the panel do show
a command field. but launchers on the desktop do not. Peter you should
check to see if this issue is in Nautilus bugzilla. If not file a bug
towards nautilus on it.
