Thanks, I didn't notice the .conduit files, so this fixed it:
ln -s /usr/lib/gnome-pilot/conduits/e-address-2.6.conduit 
/usr/share/gnome-pilot/conduits
ln -s /usr/lib/gnome-pilot/conduits/e-calendar-2.6.conduit 
/usr/share/gnome-pilot/conduits
ln -s /usr/lib/gnome-pilot/conduits/e-memo-2.6.conduit 
/usr/share/gnome-pilot/conduits
ln -s /usr/lib/gnome-pilot/conduits/e-todo-2.6.conduit 
/usr/share/gnome-pilot/conduits

Now, it seems to sync fine.  :)
