Thanks very much Matt for your answer.
Infact I have got also the usb cable but for instance I can't
synchronize at all (USB, Bluetooh, wifi).
I am under ubuntu breezy 05-10.
What I do :
I start the gnome-pilot gui
Name : cradle
PORT : /dev/pilot
SPEED : 57600
EXPIRATION : 2
TYPE : USB
I select "I have never used sync software before"
>>next
I hit the hotsync button on the palm and nothing happen...
Here the /var/log/messages
Apr 4 10:41:41 localhost kernel: [4301508.856000] usb 1-1: new full
speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 6
Apr 4 10:41:41 localhost kernel: [4301508.983000] visor 1-1:1.0: Sony
Clie 5.0 converter detected
Apr 4 10:41:41 localhost kernel: [4301508.985000] usb 1-1: Sony Clie
5.0 converter now attached to ttyUSB0
Apr 4 10:41:41 localhost kernel: [4301508.987000] usb 1-1: Sony Clie
5.0 converter now attached to ttyUSB1
Apr 4 10:41:42 localhost usb.agent[12973]: visor: already loaded
I have tried to set the PORT to /dev/ttyUSB0, /dev/ttyUSB1, /dev/pilot
I have also tried to do this :
create new file :
/etc/udev/rules.d/010-custom.rules
With this in it :
BUS=="usb", SYSFS{product}=="Palm Handheld*", KERNEL=="ttyUSB*",
NAME{ignore_remove}=="pilot", MODE="666"
I don't know what to do now ?
I'm able to send and receive files via bluetooth, I'am able to conect my
palm to my wifi LAN (ping is OK from my ubuntu pc to the palm)
What shoud I try now ?
