ecalconduit problem

I'm experiencing this since months, haven't found a solution yet.
I'm running gpilotd 2.0.12-1.2 on Debian Sarge, but I also experienced
the same problem on Ubuntu Hoary, Fedora Core 2 and Suse Linux 9.2 in
the past.
When I try to run the calendar conduit in "syncronise" or "copy from
pilot" mode, gpilotd enters an infinite loop and after some time it
crashes. The handheld (a Tungsten T5) crashes too, with a DmWriteCheck
failed error. All the other conduits/sync tools work just fine.

This is gpilotd's output:

(infinite loop till crash here)

Anyone has ideas?

Thanks in advance,
