question about debugging

Hi

I have read http://wiki.pilot-link.org/title/README.debugging but I have
a question about debugging that isn't answered there. (Perhaps it is
more related to evolution than gnome-pilot?)

First some version numbers:
m8ram linux:~/tmp/testunison> rpm -q gnome-pilot
gnome-pilot-2.0.10-SuSE.ulb.1
m8ram linux:~/tmp/testunison> rpm -q pilot-link
pilot-link-0.11.7-24
m8ram linux:~/tmp/testunison> /opt/gnome2/libexec/gpilotd --version
gpilotd-Message: gnome-pilot 2.0.10 starting...
gpilotd-Message: compiled for pilot-link version 0.11.7
gpilotd-Message: compiled with [VFS] [USB] [IrDA] [Network]
Gnome gnome-pilot 2.0.10

on SuSE 8.2 Pro

I use gnome-pilot to sync my Palm m500 with evolution and every time the
daemon is started (after opening Tools > Pilot Settings in evolution) it
gets started as: (without the backslash)

m8ram 19143 0.0 1.0 27488 5428 ? S Sep07 12:44 \
/opt/gnome2/libexec/gpilotd \
--oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Pilot_Daemon \
--oaf-ior-fd=21

Can I start gpilotd with these options in debug mode as well?

According to /opt/gnome2/libexec/gpilotd --help I can but are the IID
and FD values always the same? Where can I find these?

TIA

Bram
