Hello sorry for starting a new thread but since I just subscribed I have
no mail to answer to. 

I have exactly the same problems as Andreas

For me the error is different.
The pi-nredir after having connected ends up with

  Error accepting data on /dev/ttyUSB0

while the gpilotd daemon tells me 

gpilotd-Message: setting PILOTRATE=115200
(gpilotd:4601): gpilotd-WARNING **: An error occured while getting the pilot's system data

Useless to say that with the standard 2.0.10 nothing happens, 
but that everything works with pilot-xfer, multisyc etc etc ... 

There is a new bug in bugzilla about it.

so it seems that we are at least 4 persons having this problem
