Network Sync

Santa brought me a Sony Clie UX50, but after nearly two weeks I'm still struggling with syncing it. I'm trying to sync evolution using gnome-pilot, but so far I'm stuck with just jpilot.

I'm still working on USB syncing (Patched visor.c/visor.h and gpilotd.c) and I'll post a separate email about that when I've got more information.

So back to network syncing ...

I'm running Fedora core 1 with 2.4.22-1.2140 kernel and :
jpilot-0.99.6-1
pilot-link-0.11.8-1
gnome-pilot-devel-2.0.10-4
gnome-pilot-conduits-2.0.10-1
pilot-link-devel-0.11.8-1
gnome-pilot-2.0.10-4

JPIlot and pilot-link sync without problems. however I get no connection with pi-csd or gnome-pilot.
The difference seems to be that JPIlot and pilot-link listen on tcp port 14238, whilst pi-csd and gnome-pilot are on udp/14237
I've looked on a windows pc and it also seems to use tcp/14238.

So maybe I'm missing something and perhaps gnome-pilot doesn't work network sync ?

I've been trying to find some documentation on network sync to check the specs but so far the closes thing I can find to documentation is the source code.

Anyone got any pointers ?

thanks,
Andy
