Re: Synchronization failure / kernel 2.6.9

You probably have a 2.6.9_FCxx kernel. The Fedora specific patches are known to break some USB specific stuff. Downgrade to a previous kernel or a 2.6.9 kernel without the FC patches.

I'm using gpilotd to synchronize my Palm Tungsten-C with Ximian
Evolution, running under Fedora 2.

Everything was working fine until I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.9. Now
the synch operation either never starts, or it fails with an error
message on the handheld about a broken connection, but there is no error
message from gpilotd.

Is anyone familiar with this problem, and where I might find
documentation of it?

Thanks,
