I have just gotten the visor to connect to my computer from the command
line using the following command: pilot-xfer -p /dev/ttyUSB1 -l
Whenever I try to do this via the gui, it just times out on the
handspring. I am using usb and on RH 7.3. I saw a post on this and the
suggestion was that you cannot bind to /dev/ttyUSB1 until the hot synch
button was pressed on the handspring. To fix this, you should just
press the hot synch button a little before attempting the synch on the
Linux side. I cannot get this to work. Any suggestions would be very
helpful.
Thanks
