Hello,
this is technically not a gnome-pilot question, but since pilot-link is
a prerequisite, I guess it is not totally inappropriate.
I have compiled and installed pilot-link 0.11.4 without any problem, and
before proceeding I guess it is a good idea to see that this at least
works with my device (Handspring Treo 90).
Unfortunately what I get is (from /var/log/messages):
Sep 23 15:43:21 nefeli kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1,
assigned device number 10
Sep 23 15:43:21 nefeli kernel: usb.c: USB device 10 (vend/prod
0x82d/0x200) is not claimed by any active driver.
Sep 23 15:43:25 nefeli /etc/hotplug/usb.agent: ... no modules for USB
product 82d/200/100
Sep 23 15:44:48 nefeli kernel: usb.c: USB disconnect on device 10
Sep 23 15:45:42 nefeli kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1,

The system is a Compaq Presario 1700T running Redhat 7.3 with kernel
2.4.19.
It appears to see the machine, but it can not associate it with a module
(visor???). Any ideas/directions?
[BTW, the treo syncs just fine with win2k running in vmware under the
same linux installation, which leads me to believe that things are not
totally broken...].
Thanks in advance,
Costas
