Compile errors for gnome-pilot 0.1.66

All,

In an attempt to get my new Visor Edge and evolution playing together, today I 
downloaded the source for the following pkgs:

pilot-link-0.11.4.tar.gz
gnome-pilot-0.1.66.tar.gz
gnome-pilot-conduits-0.10.tar.gz
evolution-1.0.8.99-snap.ximian.200208120601.src.rpm

1.) I removed every exsisting gnome-pilot/pilot-link/*libs I could find on my 
system(Mandrake 8.2).

2.) I compiled and installed pilot-link

3.) I tested the new pilot-xfer and it works flawlessly

4.)I ran ./configure on gnome-pilot and it found the new version of 
pilot-link:

5.)I attempted to compile gnome-pilot but always run into these errors:

Any help you can give me is appreciated, I think the problem must be that 
there is an old library or pkg that I am linking against, but i have scoured 
my system high and low for anything palm related and I can't find anything 
that I missed.
