Palm m505/usb/evolution gpilotd crashes at calendar

Hi,

I have evolution 1.0.2, a Palm m505 with a USB cradle, the latest
pilot-link snapshot and the most gnome-pilot package with the patch from
Ximian.  

Basically, I can run a sync, I can see that contact sync works.... but
the ecalendar conduit stops at 14/142 records and then gpilotd crashes.
Short of reseting my Palm and reentering appointments, I cannot think of
a good way to debug this. Has anyone else run into a problem like this?
How can I figure out what is in record 14 is?  All I see in evolution
are 20-30 empty repeating appointments.
