not quite yet :) but at least gob appears with "yes". what i have done:

- installed oaf-0.6.10-1.ximian.1.i386.rpm
- installed oaf-devel-0.6.10-1.ximian.1.i386.rpm
- installed gob-1.0.12-1.ximian.1.i386.rpm

all via redcarpet and done the whole configure procedure all over again
until the configure script of gnome-pilot has finished and - like
mentioned above - only shows gob with "yes". and (of course)
"pilot-link: ..". oaf and oaf-devel are definitely installed (verified
that with gnorpm)

like i said, i have used in both cases "./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/"
