Sorry about all the confusing messages. I've been
checking the mail archives and have reached to the point of getting
"checking for xmlNewDoc in -lxml ... no
Could not link sample xml program
I have the following
libxml-1.8.14-2
libxml10-1.0.0-8
libxml-devel-1.8.14-2
libxml2-2.4.2-1
libxml2-devel-2.4.2.1
I'm new to this and looking thru the archives on this hasn't
helped me much. What other files/libraries do I need?
