	Yes, back up your Palm with: 

	pilot-xfer -p /dev/pilot -b . 

	(in a temp directory) 

	Then point POSE to it with /dev/ptyfe and /dev/ptyqe. I do that
all the time to test my ROM images without having to suck out the image
*FROM* my palm.
