Threads & O'Reily

Oy...

First of, I'm abandoning threads. If I take the original gpilotd, link
with pthreads, the pi_sock call always fails. It might be something that
can be fixed, but since I can do it without threads, I'm dropping them.

Also, did any of you see the article on slashdot.org reg. O'Reily wanting
info on unix+pilot tools ? Should we write them and offer some assistance
?
