Ohhh ... a menu edit widget or some such would be really nice.
If, for example, one creates custom reports, one needs to pop them
into you menu system for use next time. I cooked one up, but
its really ugly and overly complex (its modeled on the glade menu
editor, which is OK for glade, but not for general consumption).
A file-browser metaphor for editing menus might work, except that
one needs to associate certain app-specific metadata with each menu
entry /aka/ 'file'.
