Can I merge nl.po master with nl.po 2.10 using msgmerge and upload
the result to [2]? Or would it be better to copy (upload)
/master/po/nl directly to 2-10?
Well you'd know better than us. But from what I think to know, the
right way would be merging, wouldn't it? This way, you'd keep every
string which are present in both master and gimp-2-10. If you just
copy from master to 2-10, you may lose work which was already in
master, and not in 2-10 (if any).
