Then it just hangs until I ctrl+c at which point it reports "ERROR: pipeline doesn't want to preroll." If I enable verbose output it looks like it makes it through the decodebin, which is what I would expect because the same pipeline works if I just drop vaapisink after the decodebin.
Obviously, my pipeline is far simpler than the one used by Transmageddon, but I suspect they are both hitting the same wall. Of course, I don't know how to get any logging from Transmageddon to be sure.
