[gnome-love] ati compatability

I am missing the stability of having a compiz enabled gnome desktop that works with the ati binary drivers. I tried everything in gnome shell and fallback and nothing gives me good performance and I cant use the open drivers, they run way to slow, and xfce is really hard to properly theme so I ditched that. am I missing something?
