Maintainers, developers etc. can check over there if modules build. The
first version could be quite simple just a script that repeatedly calls
jhbuild in tinderbox mode and outputs the results on a webserver.

I find this idea very useful. However, regarding the way to achieve it, may i suggest to evaluate the use of buildbot (see ) ? We use it for our software project ( ), and it's very promising.

If you're interested, I can share with you the experience I had so far using buildbot.
