Hi there,
I am running Ubuntu Hoary.
I have taken the latest gnome-bluetooth module from CVS and built it.
When I try to run it I get the following errors, and the GUI doesn't
work properly.
marc ubuntu:~/gnome/bin $ ./gnome-bluetooth-manager
(manager.py:9703): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot register existing
type `BtctlController'
(manager.py:9703): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_type_register_static:
assertion `parent_type > 0' failed
(Bluetooth Device Manager:9703): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot
register existing type `BtctlController'
(Bluetooth Device Manager:9703): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **:
g_type_register_static: assertion `parent_type > 0' failed
(Bluetooth Device Manager:9703): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid cast
from `BtctlController' to `<invalid>'
(Bluetooth Device Manager:9703): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: cannot
register existing type `BtctlController'
(Bluetooth Device Manager:9703): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **:
g_type_register_static: assertion `parent_type > 0' failed
** (Bluetooth Device Manager:9703): CRITICAL **:
gnomebt_controller_known_devices: assertion `GNOMEBT_IS_CONTROLLER
(self)' failed
marc ubuntu:~/gnome/bin $
Is this a bug in the gnome-bluetooth GLib code, or am I doing
something wrong? (I now have 2 versions of gnome-bluetooth installed,
one in /usr/bin, one in /home/marc/gnome/bin)
