Cool, looks good.  Two things to note:

1) configure.ac is preferred over the name configure.in (see
http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/manual/autoconf-2.57/html_node/autoconf_7.html)

2) The "Last Updated" tidbit at the end doesn't appear to be correct (it
has a date of 2003/09/28 00:31:27)
