[gnome-love] Build order for Gnome2.5

I am new to building version of gnome that is not straight from my
Distro, I am wanting to try out the Gnome 2.5.x series to see what 2.6
might be like, SuSE is behind on the Gnome side so I am going to attempt
to build one from source, can someone help me?  What I am needing to
know is there any special build order, if yes, what is it? and how do I
edit my session startup script to point to the new version once I get it
built.
