Re: gnome-list Digest, Vol 77, Issue 5 items 1 and 2.



On the task bar, on an area where there are no icons right click and select properties. There you can alter the height of the task bar, remember the icons scale in correspondence.

Then you can simply drag the icon onto the desktop and drop there. The original remains on the task bar.

1- How can I change menu bar?size (the bar at the top of the screen where
"system" and others?are there)?

2- Is it possible to place some gnome?applets in the desktop rather than menu
bar?
