Re: .desktop file format



(I sent this to the list a few days ago and it seems to have rotted in
a queue before bouncing back to me.  Here's hoping that the second
time is the charm.)

That depends on what the .desktop files are for really.  Most often,
if they are used for menu entries, you will find them in
$datadir/applications.  On Fedora, this is /usr/share/applications.
