I am using suse 10.0 with gnome/metacity 2.12. I have a multimedia
keyboard that I want to use the volume keys to control the _headphone_
volume, not the master. I figured I could do this with gconf
/apps/metacity/keybinding_commands and specifying the key in
/apps/metacity/global_keybindings. This WORKS if I use lets say a
"<Control>r" in the global_keybindings. It does NOT work if I set the
command to my volume up key which appears to be "0xb0".
I got that 0xb0 from the gnome control center keybindings area. I set
another command to the volume up key, and thats what it populated in
the key field. For example, it says my Play/Pause button is "0xa2".
This is kind of hard to explain so hopefully you understand what I
want to do now. Any ideas?
Thanks!
