I'm using fvwm as my wm, running a lot of gnome applications.

To get to a terminal as root, or to run a program as root, I've been
using an xterm, with a line something like this:

Exec xterm +ls +sb +hold -e su -m -c nautilus

Is there a gnome utility which will get a root password, then run a
program from a script?
